We are so happy to have recently formed an Ogden Trust partnership across Bridlington schools, led by Quay Academy and including: Burlington Infants and Burlington Junior School, Martongate Primary, Headlands Secondary School, Thomas Hinderwell and Hilderthorpe Primary. This is an excellent way for us to share best practise within our community and beyond- developing Science knowledge, experiences and Science capital amongst our pupils. We have already held joint meetings and our pupils have taken part in two joint activities- sharing the use of a Planetarium at Quay and taking part in a joint on-line 'star gazing' activity. These were both lots of fun. Burlington Juniors and Hilderthorpe have shared their link with Professor Brad Gibson from Hull University, who subsequently visited Quay Academy and wowed staff and pupils there too!
